This is the type of stone retaining wall we will be using for the Lagoon view development, you will see that there are drainage pipes protruding through the walls, these are necessary to drain the ground behind the walls, at the Lagoon view development these outlets will be clay animal heads and the water will run into our irrigation tanks for re-use.

Another method of dry stone walling with a local coloured stone, typical of the walls and properties in and around Bodrum.

The stone used for this wall is not local to Bodrum and was brought from the quarry in another area but can add contrast to the local coloured stones,dry stone key block walling is very solid but very time consuming to lay, the stone mason has to ensure each stone is keyed to the next and the gaps infilled with smaller stone chips.
